A STAGE adaptation of a book about the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – by local journalist, Mark Fisher – is to include a session comprising fellow journalists, to provide first-hand insights on how a show might get noticed above the competition.
Fisher is author of ‘The Edinburgh Fringe survival guide – How to make your show a success’. And the freelance writer – who is, among other things, The Guardian’s Scottish theatre correspondent – is staging performances every Thursday and Friday during the festival, starting a week on Thursday, August 9.
And the following morning, he is being joined Lyn Gardner, Guardian theatre critic, Brian Logan, Guardian comedy critic, Miriam Attwood, former media manager for the Fringe Society and now press officer for the National Galleries of Scotland, and Finn Anderson, writer of Streets the Musical.
