THE general-secretary of the National Union of Journalists is making her first visit to Scotland since being elected to the role in April.
Michelle Stanistreet is speaking at a meeting being held jointly by the Edinburgh Freelance and the Edinburgh and District branches of the union.
It is taking place next Monday, from 7pm, at the Royal British Hotel, in the capital.
Also present will be Lena Calvert, the NUJ’s equality officer, and Paul Holleran, the NUJ’s Scottish organiser.
