A writer at The Scotsman has been named Regional Money Journalist of the Year at an awards ceremony celebrating the best of financial journalism.

Times’ Andrew Ellson is journalist of the year at Headlinemoney awards saw Andrew Ellson, The Times’ personal finance editor, crowned Headlinemoney Journalist of the Year.
Headlinemoney’s Outstanding Achievement award for 2011 went to Lorna Bourke, a former personal finance editor at The Times, Daily Telegraph and The Independent.
