AN Edinburgh news agency have recruited two new reporters to its editorial team.
Christine Lavelle has joined Deadline Press and Picture Agency, fresh from completing a masters degree in multimedia journalism at Glasgow Caledonian University where she spent time building on her experience from working placements with the likes of Macmillan Media, The Scotsman and The Herald.
Martin Graham joins from the same course having recently been named joint winner of the New Voices journalism prize by Oxfam for his work reporting on the plight of refugees at the Red Road flats in Glasgow, published in the Sunday Herald.
Said consulting managing editor at the agency, Shaun Milne: “We are delighted to strengthen our team with two of Scotland’s brightest young journalism talents, and look forward to seeing them deliver the kind of stories we hope all our news clients will be eager to use.”
Deadline now has an eight strong editorial team of photographers and multimedia journalists.
