EVEN before yesterday’s Edinburgh Evening News picked up on reports elsewhere that a Scottish book publisher was looking for journalists to try their hand at writing books, already the proposals were beginning to pour in.
Edinburgh-based Black & White Publishing is seeking to build on the success of Scottish bestseller, The Law Killers, by Dundee-based journalist, Alexander McGregor, plus the crime books of Reg McKay, by inviting manuscripts from more journalists.
Said a spokesperson, by early yesterday morning, some “four approaches, all from good writers with very promising material,” had been received.
