WITH the ‘for sale’ signs having been taken down from the Cameo Cinema in Edinburgh, and the present owners reported to be committed to maintaining the building as a cinema, film lovers in general, and fans specifically of the Cameo, are being invited to a party to help realise refurbishment plans.
Taking place a week on Thursday, the party will coincide with the launch of club called Cameo 500, for “friends, patrons, supporters – angels, if you will”.
