SPIKE hears that it was with some glee that the Scottish Daily Express ‘assisted’ their chums at the Daily Record over a story about a groom who had gone missing after allegedely suffering memory loss after a car accident.
Responding to a plea for a photograph of a man from Inverclyde, the Express picture desk, run by Ian Dawson, was only too happy to oblige… after pointing out a pic had been issued by ‘Strathclyde’s finest’ on Saturday and was freely available to all without any grovelling required.
