THE owner of Radio Clyde and Radio Forth is about to announce job cuts at its ‘big city’ stations based in Scotland, the north of England and Northern Ireland – so it has been reported.
allmediascotland.com has a query in with Bauer Media as to what, if anything, is happening with its Scottish stations.
Says The Guardian newspaper: “The job losses will be centred around some of its 20-strong network of Big City stations which are based in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“[They include] Key 103 in Manchester, Metro Radio in Newcastle, Radio City in Liverpool and Radio Aire in Leeds. Scottish Big City stations include Clyde 1 in Glasgow, Forth One in Edinburgh and Dundee-based Tay FM.”
