THE BBC News business editor who has become a household name following his reporting of the banking crisis has been confirmed as another keynote speaker at this year’s MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival.
Robert Peston is to give the Richard Dunn Memorial Lecture at the festival, which is taking place between August 28 and 30.
Promised is a look at the responsibilities and challenges for television in reporting the ‘credit crunch’.
He is a former financial editor and political editor of the Financial Times, and a previous City editor of the Sunday Telegraph.
Previous Richard Dunn Memorial Lecture speakers have included Jamie Oliver, Simon Cowell and Gerry McCann.
