A COMPANY specialising in the generation of television programme ideas for possible commissioning has been set up in Scotland.
Available for hire by, mainly, Scottish independent production companies, Wigwag TV describes itself as a ‘programme format and content development consultancy’.
It comprises Rick Hughes, who has a background in advertising and also psychotherapy; plus television director/producer, Fiona Walton; and writer, Philippa Langley.
Says Hughes: “With high overheads to maintain a development division, indies can come to us for factual and entertainment ideas and formats which we research and develop, with specific broadcasters in mind.”
