TO coincide with a move of its production to Glasgow, Newsnight Review – the Friday arts addition to the BBC’s news and current affairs programme, Newsnight – is reported to be headed for a revamp.
Says MediaGuardian, the move to Glasgow is taking place early next year and is part of a wider BBC initiative to have some of its key programmes made outside London. It will follow Question Time and Weakest Link to BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay HQ.
The paper adds that the future of Newsnight Review presenters, Martha Kearney and Scot, Kirsty Wark, will be unaffected by the move.
