EPISODES of stv’s Taggart and Rebus dramas have been sold for broadcast on the UKTV crime and detective channel, Alibi.
The sale has been brokered by Target Entertainment Group, a leading international production and rights’ management company.
Taggart, which is broadcast on ITV1, has been licensed to over 160 countries and UKTV has licensed the exclusive secondary rights to 27 episodes of the drama series and will also take an additional 28 episodes for broadcast after ITV’s license period has ended. It has also acquired Video on Demand rights.
UKTV has also acquired ten episodes of Rebus. Internationally, the series has been licensed to 151 countries.
