A SCOTTISH freelance photographer has been shortlisted in this year’s Sports Journalists’ Association’s British Sports Photography Awards.
Tom Main is nominated in the ‘Sports news picture’ category, nudging his way on to a shortlist dominated by Getty Images – which secured eight nominations across the awards’ five categories.
Main was the winner of the ‘Sports picture’ category at last year’s Scottish Press Photography Awards.
The shortlists for the writing and cartoon categories of the British Sports Journalism Awards will be announced next week.
