BBC Scotland has netted yet another commission for a children’s programme to be broadcast on the Corporation’s network strand, CBBC.
Copycat is to be a 52-part series of 28 minute-long programmes where families compete against each other in, says BBC Scotland, “a variety of exciting and captivating tasks which test players’ ability to pass on information”.
It is to be hosted by Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes and will be recorded in ‘Studio A’ at BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow, during May and June.
BBC Scotland’s other children’s programmes for network broadcast include the long-running fantasy challenge show, Raven, the satirical sketch show, Hedz, and game show, Get 100.
Copycats will be produced by Matthew Napier and Sue Morgan will be executive producer. The series was commissioned by Anne Gilchrist, Controller, CBBC.
