A SIX month-long showcase of work by Edinburgh-based TV and film producers, plus those working in animation, corporate video and other moving images, is to take place in the capital.
‘Made in Edinburgh’ is the result of the Edinburgh Producers’ Group, a loose networking group of moving image producers in the city.
In association with the Filmhouse and the city council, via its Inspiring Capital brand, the showcase will take place from March until August and comprise screenings at the Filmhouse.
The initiative seeks to underline the significant contribution moving image makes to the city’s economy, whether Edinburgh-based producers at work or the city as a location for outside producers, including of feature films.
