A FORMER Scotland editor of The Observer is joining The Guardian after a spell at The Independent.
Stephen Khan has been appointed assistant news editor (home and foreign) at The Guardian. He left The Observer to join The Independent as deputy foreign editor five years ago.
More recently at The Independent, he has been associate news editor.
