JOURNALISM’S loss is often the PR industry’s gain, and that is certainly the case for PR consultancy, McGarvie Morrison Media, who have hired Marge Davidson, of Scottish Daily Mail fame, to manage its Glasgow headquarters.
For 14 years, Marge kept the SDM running smoothly through the editorships of Martin Clarke, Ramsay Smith and Chris Williams.
Says MMM director Lindsay McGarvie: “I know from my stint at the Daily Mail just how valuable an asset Marge will be for us with her invaluable experience of running a tight ship and her knowledge of the media.
‘”This is a real coup for MMM, and we’re all looking forward to her coming on board and using her formidable skills to help the company continue to grow.”
Set up three years ago by former BBC network correspondent, John Morrison, and ex-Sunday Mail political editor, Lindsay McGarvie, MMM provides PR, public affairs and media training services.
