A TV series about the history of Scotland has added to its debut ratings success, its second episode resulting in even more viewers tuning in.
A History of Scotland – comprising also of radio, internet and events – has been made by BBC Scotland. Presented by Neil Oliver, its first airing – the Sunday before last – saw it net some 604,000 viewers – some 170,000 more than the average for its 9pm BBC ONE slot.
But two days ago, it performed even better: 624,000.
What’s more, a repeat of episode one netted – on Sunday, on BBC TWO Scotland, at 6pm – some 240,000 viewers.
