AHEAD of a more formal send-off planned for the end of the month, the Scottish Daily Mail’s Jim Hendry enjoyed a few bottles of fine Rioja with colleagues at the end of last week, to mark his retirement from the paper, where he was deputy sports editor.
Jim has worked in the newspaper business for 40 years and been at the Scottish Daily Mail for 14 of them,
He was previously at the Daily Record.
It’s not yet known who will be appointed his successor.
