THE Scotsman newspaper is hosting a debate on the media this evening, in Glasgow, for which tickets are still available.
Being chaired by the newspaper’s Stephen McGinty, a distinguished panel – including independent TV producer and former Scottish Screen chief executive, John Archer – debate: “What media does Scotland want for the 21st century?”
It is taking place at the Mitchell Library, between 7pm and 8.30pm.
Also speaking are Maggie Cunningham, head of programmes and services, BBC Scotland; Bobby Hain, director of broadcasting, stv; and Margo Macdonald, journalist and MSP.
