ON a whim, a couple of months previous, I caught wind of the MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival that was to take place over three days in August.
As someone who just graduated with a media degree, and wanting to break into this creative industry, I was rather enthused with the prospect as being a witness to the event.
