NEW ownership appears to be suiting some of Scotland’s best-known radio stations, such as Clyde and Forth, according to the latest figures released by the listening audit body, RAJAR.
At the end of last year, Bauer bought over various Scottish stations previously owned by Emap, which had been previously part of Scottish Radio Holdings. And at the likes of its Clyde, Forth and Northsound divisions, the listening figures have enjoyed a boost.
The figures, released this morning, were for the first three months of this year and, in the case of Clyde, there was an increase in the percentage share of available audience, at both its Clyde 1 FM and Clyde 2 outfits.
