SPIKE didn’t see it, so can’t confirm it happened, but it is reliably informed that, as BBC Scotland’s David Henderson was recording a promotion for Wednesday evening’s news programme, Reporting Scotland, someone in the background was making what could be construed as an offensive hand gesture.
But then, as an internal memo is said yesterday to have put it: “I’m sure it was actually a prediction of a 2-2 draw in last night’s match [between Celtic and Rangers], but not sure the viewers will buy it.”
