DOCUMENTARY filmmakers are being invited to enter the UK’s most prestigious documentary awards, named after the Scot said to be the ‘father’ of the genre.
The annual Grierson Awards commemorate the work of pioneering Scottish film maker, John Grierson.
Established in the year of his death – 1972 – they have previously recognised the work of, among others, Olivia Lichtenstein, Nick Broomfield and Pawel Pawlikowski.
