THE Scottish editor of the Daily Telegraph, Alan Cochrane, has come up trumps… in his battle over the labelling of turnips and swedes on the Scottish Parliament’s canteen menu.
The doughty Cochrane was distinctly unhappy about the apparent confusion over the root vegetables, and Corporate Body member, Tricia Marwick MSP, pledged to raise the matter with the Parliament caterers.
