THE Scottish Parliament was last night the scene of a slick presentation on the challenges facing the Scottish advertising and marketing industries.
But while there was a large turn-out of practitioners – including many of the country’s biggest ‘players’ – there were few MSPs present to hear the message.
Three other receptions, taking place at Holyrood at the same time, may have accounted for the low turn-out of MSPs – about half a dozen.
What they missed was a specially-made video and some dramatic Scotland-only figures: an industry employing 40,000 people.
