AN Edinburgh-based photography student has beaten off the challenge of over 500 hopefuls to take a UK-wide photography prize.
Lou Hardness, who studies at Stevenson College, in the capital, was competing against photography students from 53 different universities and colleges in a competition sponsored by tea giants, Tetley, in association with camera manufacturers, Nikon.
The task was to capture a single image why Tea is Brilliant.
For winning, Lou received a Nikon D300 camera kit.
