THE best press photographs of 2007 are being sought by the organisers of the First ScotRail Scottish Press Photography Awards, who have just issued a call for entries.
A closing date of January 16 has been set for entries to the awards, which were resurrected two years ago, after an absence of a number of years, by transport group, First ScotRail.
Last year’s competition attracted over 3,000 entries.
The awards are open to staff, freelance, trainee and student photographers working primarily in Scotland.
There are 13 categories, with another for First ScotRail employees.
