AS has been widely reported elsewhere: The UK political editor of The Herald newspaper has been appointed a special adviser to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Catherine Macleod begins working for Alistair Darling today. She’s been UK political editor of The Herald for the past eight years. Before that, she worked as a freelance journalist, including for Grampian Television.
