ALEX Salmond yesterday shared with Wall Street Journal readers that, among his five favourite books, is Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations.
And in return, readers were informed that Salmond is a former economist with The Royal Bank of Scotland and is leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party.
But the paper forgot to mention one other rather important fact… that he is, er, the First Minister of Scotland.
P.S The other four? How the Scots Invented the Modern World, Sunset Song, The Wind in the Willows and The Works of Robert Burns.
