NOT all politicians are losing their media spokespeople; at the end of the week, a Scots MEP is taking one on.
Labour MEP, Catherine Stihler, has appointed Kirsty Leiper as her press and campaigns officer. Leiper has been working for the last two years at Edinburgh-based Great Circle Communications, as a consultant.
At the weekend, Scottish Labour leader, Wendy Alexander, accepted the sudden resignation of her newly-appointed ‘spin doctor’, Matthew Marr.
