THE head of press at BBC Scotland is to become acting chief press officer for the Corporation, UK-wide.
Roy Templeton takes over from Sarah Williams, who has been appointed head of communications for the magazines division of BBC Worldwide.
Sitting in for Templeton will be Jim Gough.
Templeton takes over from the 12th of next month, on attachment until a permanent appointment is made.
He’ll be working alongside a fellow Scot: former Radio Tay presenter, Donald Steel, who is head of press.
