SCOTS school pupils are to be targeted by a marketing campaign, seeking to convince them there’s a good career to be had on the high seas.
Following a six-way pitch, Edinburgh-based direct marketing agency, Navigator Responsive Advertising, has been appointed by Scottish Enterprise to develop a three-year marketing and communications campaign to promote maritime careers in Scotland.
Aimed at S4 and S5 school leavers, parents, teachers and career advisors, the campaign will raise awareness of the maritime sector as an attractive career choice.
The campaign will be launched next month to educate year–end school leavers, and to inform students making subject selections for Higher grades exams next year.
Established in 1993, Navigator Responsive Advertising boasts a staff of 48.
