SPIKE liked a story on the BBC website the other day, about the emergency crews being called out to a crematorium in Aberdeen, because of a blaze in the building.
But only because of the headline and the quote in the final paragraph.
‘Fire at city crematorium tackled’ has to be on a par with the fabled, ‘Body found in graveyard’.
And the last par read: “A fire service spokesman said the cremator equipment was ‘well alight’ when crews arrived.”
Anyway, it made Spike smile.
