THE Sunday Mail’s crime and investigations reporter is said to be mulling over a handful of job offers after handing in her notice.
After nearly four years at the paper, Jane Hamilton said she “needed a change”.
She was previously crime reporter at the Edinburgh Evening News.
She added: “[Editor] Allan Rennie has been brilliant. When I told him my decision, we talked a lot about it. He was very understanding.”
She is also considering going freelance.
Meanwhile, the communications officer at Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People is taking up a new posting.
Gordon Brown is heading to Asthma UK Scotland, to be its public affairs and communications manager.
