TOMORROW sees a special edition of the Big Issue in Scotland magazine on sale, with eight pages being devoted to celebs talking about their favourite places in Scotland.
What’s particularly interesting might be the magazine’s cover, provided exclusively by the novelist and artist, Alasdair Gray.
Consisting a man with a serpent coming out of his head, are we to assume his favourite place is Aberlemno, near Forfar – scene of some Pictish standing stones, depicting serpents? Or is that being just too clever, by half?
