BBC Scotland has secured a new five-year deal with football’s Scottish Premierleague, to include a 30-minute, midweek highlights TV programme, featuring all the goals and the best of the action from every game.
And the broadcaster has also secured the rights to offer football fans the chance to view, on demand and online, the goals and key moments from all the weekend matches, for a period of up to seven days.
Plus, there will be live radio commentary of every league game.
Said Ewan Angus, head of sport at BBC Scotland: “We are delighted to have secured such a comprehensive rights package with the SPL. We are looking forward to providing an exciting mix of coverage over the next five years.
“It is excellent news that our audiences across the country will continue to enjoy our unrivalled live service on BBC Radio Scotland.”
