THE deadline for entries to one of Scotland’s best-known journalism awards has been extended by a week.
Entries to the Refugee Week Scottish Media Awards were meant to be in today. Instead, they can be submitted up to next Friday.
The awards seek to encourage “exceptional and fair reporting of asylum in Scotland” and are supported by Oxfam, the National Union of Journalists, Amnesty International, the British Red Cross and the Scottish Refugee Council.
