SCHOOL pupils who have entered a competition to raise awareness and understanding of the magazine industry are to learn their fate at the beginning of June.
The awards ceremony for the inaugural Scottish School Magazine of the Year competition has been set for June 8, at the Scottish Parliament, with TV presenter, Carol Smillie, as host.
The event represents the culmination of what organisers, the Periodical Publishers Association in Scotland, say is a “groundbreaking new competition”, which aims also to encourage school-leavers to consider the magazine industry as a career choice.
