THE deadline is looming for a digital photographer competition being organised in the Highlands and Islands.
May 1 is the closing date for entries to the competition, being organised by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Distance Lab – a new research institute for digital media technology based in the Highlands.
Say the organisers: “The judges are looking for the most stunning and inventive expressions of distance in a contemporary Highlands and Islands context, with some sort of connection to [the festival] Highland 2007’s main themes.”
