Gaelic TV channel plans receive cash boost

PLANS to launch a digital TV channel dedicated to Gaelic-language programming have been boosted by £3m-a-year additional cash.

The extra money is to come from the Scottish Executive and was announced by Culture Minister, Patricia Ferguson.
