GLASGOW’S multi-coloured moment on the TV screens of the world has been given a top award. The Sony Bravia advert, of paint exploding over a tower block, was made at the Queen’s Court flats in the Toryglen area of the city.
The spot, filmed from 65 camera positions and using 70,000 litres of environmentally-friendly paint, won the Best Commercial gong at the British Television Advertising Awards.
It was directed by Jonathan Glazer, one of Britain’s top ad directors, whose credits include the feature film, Sexy Beast.
