ONE of the country’s biggest advertising agencies has managed to fend off competition from a number of rivals to retain the creative advertising account for the organisation charged with safeguarding Scotland’s historic environment.
Following a pitch against other agencies, The Union is to retain the Historic Scotland creative advertising account.
The account has already been with The Union for four years. In the last year alone, creative awards won by The Union for Historic Scotland include a prestigious Campaign Poster award, five awards at The Roses and four prizes at the Scottish Advertising Awards.
Says Pauline Lamb, account manager at The Union: “It goes without saying that we are all absolutely delighted to have retained this account.
“As a Scottish agency, working on campaigns for iconic tourist and cultural attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, is a privilege. We are excited to be working on a fresh approach this year and are looking forward to rising to the creative challenge.”
