THE assistant editor at Sunday Times Scotland, has been appointed by his former boss, to the assistant editor’s post at Scotland on Sunday.
Kenny Farquharson has been taken on by Les Snowdon, who recently moved from the editor’s post at ST Scotland to the hot seat at SoS.
Farquharson is no stranger to Scotland on Sunday, having worked there between 1989-1997, the last four years as political editor.
He left to join the Daily Record as political editor, before moving on to the Sunday Times Scotland, where he was political editor and then assistant editor.
He is a former Scottish Political Journalist of the Year and has been shortlisted for the George Orwell Prize for political writing. He is also the co-author of Restless Nation, a history of post-war Scottish politics.
When he actually moves has yet to be agreed.
