A DUTCH filmmaker based in Edinburgh just missed out on winning a prize at this year’s British Documentary Awards, which were set up as a tribute to the work of Scottish documentary filmmaker, John Grierson.
Astrid Bussink was among the nominees for the Best Newcomer Award, with her film, Angelmaker.
She was among five vying for the title, which was awarded at a ceremony hosted by broadcaster, Rageh Omar, and transmitted on BBC Four on Saturday evening.
