Grayling Scotland leads PR Awards shortlist

GRAYLING Scotland has secured the most entries in the shortlist of an awards competition celebrating the best of PR in Scotland.

Over 60 companies and 112 entries feature across 23 categories in this year’s PRide awards being hosted by the Charted Institute of Public Relations (Scotland). And Grayling Scotland has ten nominations withWeber Shandwick Scotland and VisitScotland following, with seven nominations apiece.

In a CIPR media station, Laura Sutherland, chair of the CIPR Scotland Group, is quoted, as saying: “This year, we are particularly pleased to see a number of new entrants on the shortlist. It’s always encouraging to know that we continue to develop the awards and whom it attracts. The diversity in the type of campaigns is testament to the strength and depth of the public relations sector in Scotland.”

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner taking place on Thursday December  6 at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Said  Grayling’s director for Scotland, Billy Partridge: “We’re delighted to have been nominated across so many different categories and for such a wide number of clients. It underlines the quality that we demand from ourselves and our clients expect.

“In addition, it’s good to see both the public relations and public affairs businesses getting recognition as we work together as a very close team and we are looking forward to the final event in December already.”
