THE first on-call PR person for BAA when Glasgow airport was the target of a terror attack five years ago, has set up her own communications consultancy.
Alison Arnot has set up Catalyst Communications having most recently been head of communications and public affairs at Glasgow Caledonian University.
She told allmediascotland.com: “Having worked in a variety of strategic internal and external communications roles over the past 15 years, I’m committed to the value of working closely with clients to deliver a tailored, impactful service based on a sound understanding of their unique objectives, strengths and vulnerabilities.
“As PR and communications play an ever more important role in business and organisational strategy, a strong focus on partnership, insight and understanding mean Catalyst will be well placed to meet clients’ reputational needs by providing high quality, bespoke and creative solutions across a range of media.
Next week, Arnot will be the Scottish regional representative in discussions about the future of crisis management being held in London by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
