An Aberdeen company has been named among the winners at an awards ceremony celebrating 'free range thinking and creativity' in public relations.
Tricker PR was last night a gold medal winner at the Fresh PR awards, in the Freshest PR Stunt or Event category.
It was for its Deer Oh Deer …Venison Ice Cream, Whatever Next? campaign.
Said the judges: “An incredibly clever campaign that is very well written and contains lots of iconic images. Clearly executed and delivering great coverage, a delightful campaign from Tricker PR.”
The agency was also nomiated in the Freshest Sponsorship Maximisation category for the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, which was also nominated in the Freshest Austerity Marketing Campaign category.
The Grand Prix, for the best overall entry in the competition, was awarded to Warwickshire PR consultancy, Prova PR, for their 'One Man, One Triumph Motorcycle, One PR Firm' submission which featured comedian and bike fan, Ross Noble.
Say the organisers: “Established in 2003, Fresh has quickly become a recognised brand and important highlight in the industry calendar, with an original approach to awards delivery and a policy of keeping the process of entering awards as transparent as possible.”
