THE communications team at Northern Constabulary have been awarded the runners-up prize at an inaugural competition to recognise the best of police communications.
At the inaugural Association of Police Communicators Professionals Awards, the Nothern Constabulary finished behind Nottinghamshire Police in the Outstanding In-house Team category.
Says Northern Constabulary: “The Northern Constabulary team were recognised and commended for their work in enhancing public reassurance and helping to increase public satisfaction in the Highlands and Islands against a backdrop of financially challenging times.”
