THE well-known sports retailer, Sportsdirect.com, has appointed a Glasgow company to manage its UK consumer public relations.
The Nottingham-based retailer has taken on Incentive Media to boost coverage in the national media and to promote its product ranges.
The agency won the account without a pitch following project work – various consumer PR features – for the company earlier this year.
Says Incentive Media director, Lorraine Fraser: “Sportsdirect.com offers the biggest brands in all types of sportswear, footwear and sports equipment at impressive prices. With over 400 stores within the UK and a strong online presence they have a superb range in mainstream and specialist sports such as running, outdoor, football, fitness and golf. It is our aim to ensure that Sportsdirect.com is the only destination point for consumers.”
